The XII Brazilian Congress of Health Informatics (CBIS) was held
from October 18-22, 2010 at the Porto de Galinhas Beach in Pernambuco,
Brazil.
The CBIS presented updates on the recent development of information technology and communications in the healthcare system in Brazil and other countries. Participants were welcome to discuss alternatives to further develop the use of information technology in the healthcare system.
